key ingredient to beating anxiety...

The first key ingredient to beating your anxiety... Believing!
This truth came to me almost instantly when I kept praying for God to heal me from the anxiety. I kept praying that the anxiety would be gone; God told me over and over again to believe. I dove into His Word and found Jesus telling His disciples and the people He helped, to believe in order to see the glory of God. That if we just believe then we can be healed!
Here are a bunch of verses from the gospels where Jesus continuously tells everyone to believe!

Then Jesus said to the Centurion, "Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would." And His servant was healed at that very hour. Matthew 8:13

Then Jesus cried out, "Those who believe in me do not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me. When they look at me, they see the one who sent me. I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness." John 13:44-46

Believe me when I say that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. Very truly I tell you, all who have faith in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father." John 14:11-12

Jesus said to her, "I am the ressurection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?"
"Yes Lord," she told him, "I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who was to come into the world." John 11:25-26

Then Jesus said, "Did I not tell you that if you believe you will see the glory of God?" John 11:40

Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, "Don't be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed." Luke 8:50

"Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill His promises to her!" Luke 2:45

"'If you can?'" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for one who believes." Mark 9:23

"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. ..." John 17:20-21

I pray that these verses have helped you so far. Be sure to read God's Word, meditate on these verses and understand the love Jesus has for you!
One more verses that I have always treasured is from the gospel of Mark...

He said to her "Daughter your faith has healed you; go in peace, you are free from your suffering." Mark 5:34

Even though faith and belief are two different things, they are related to one another; so this verse can also be applied to believing God's Word and His love for you.

May God bless you all!
